Howard Connelly is a sculptor working in Maryland near Washington, DC and Baltimore. He began working in special effects and film in Los Angeles for five years before moving to the DC area and working in partnership with Propeller Studios. After 12 years in commercial art, Connelly opened his design/build studio and sculpture business in 2004.
He has a passion for kinetic and public art and is an expert in metal, wood and fiberglass fabrication and finishing. He works with architects, designers, restaurants, and museums and has served as Conservator for DCCAH, Resident Sculptor for HGTV's Curb Appeal and is a member of the Washington Sculptors Group.
